Grounding Exercises

We understand that walking into a networking meeting for the first time can bring a mix of emotions: excitement, perhaps a little nervousness, or even feeling a bit intimidated. To help everyone feel comfortable and ready to connect, we begin each meeting with a grounding exercise. This helps you relax, center yourself, and prepare to confidently introduce yourself and your business.

30 Second Introduction

After our grounding exercise, we’ll transition into introductions. Each member will have approximately 30 seconds to stand up and share a bit about themselves and their business. This is a fantastic opportunity to let us know what kind of customers you’re looking to connect with, or if there are any specific ‘power partners’ who could help you achieve your goals. Don’t worry – we’ll keep the time, and everyone is incredibly supportive! It’s a great way to share your expertise, build connections, and discover how others can help you thrive.

Shout Outs and Testimonials

Following our introductions, we’ll move into ‘Shout Outs,’ which we do in a fun, popcorn style. This is your chance to share positive experiences you’ve had working with other members of the group, highlighting their amazing talents and contributions. It’s a great way to show appreciation, build rapport, and further strengthen our collaborative network. We love hearing about the successes within our group!

Share Your Events

Finally, we’ll open the floor for event announcements. If you have any upcoming workshops, promotions, or special events related to your business, this is the perfect time to share them with the group.
